Santa Luz
WINERY OVERVIEW
Founded in 1976 in the Colchagua Valley, Santa Luz remains a family-owned and managed
operation: two generations are actively involved in keeping the brand synonymous with quality
and traditional family values. Santa Luz was inspired by the sunlight that shines over the
vineyards, an important factor in the perfect maturation of the grapes, as well as to honor the
founder’s youngest daughter Luz, the last of seven siblings.
Santa Luz grapes are sourced from the best wine regions in Chile, and the wines are crafted at
a state-of-the-art facility in the Colchagua Valley. Each bottle of Santa Luz is a reflection of the
care, passion, and pride that the winemaking team has taken to delivering the best of Chile in
each bottle.
LOCATION OF VINEYARD
The Santa Luz wine estate is located in internationally recognized Colchagua Valley, in the
heart of Chile’s Central Valley. It sits nestled in a secluded, horseshoe-shaped valley, separated
from the majestic snow-capped Andes by the smaller San Fernando ridge.
Total vineyard holdings include 4,570 acres (1,850 hectares) of prime vineyard land over
five vineyard estates, which benefit from ideal microclimates for growing wine grapes.
These include holdings in: the Colchagua Valley (inland, mountain, and coastal estates), the
Leyda Valley (super premium cool coastal), and the Maule Valley (historical viticultural region
of Chile).
