Count your blessings at the close of day,
Review your storehouse of gold.
The golden love of family and friends
That rewards you with pleasure untold.
Take time to visit your garden of blooms –
In each there’s a message of love.
The beautiful colors that brighten your day
Can warm a heart like a glove.
Enjoy your dreams as you glide in your swing,
Travel back to yesteryear’s ways.
Hold in your arms loves from the past,
Back in your rapturous days.
Kneel by your bed at the end of the day
With your hands folded in prayer;
Give thanks to the Lord for the blessings you know –
Who else but He put them there?
Our time is no more than the blink of the eye,
Embrace it as it races by.
Let every day shine to vie with the sun
And glitter like stars in the sky.
Today you stand by the side of the road
Watching the masses pass by,
Tomorrow, you’ll know the measure of time –
You will have had your blink of the eye
During the last month, we received a message concerning PC
Joe Cox. He had been hospitalized and diagnosed with cancer.
Please keep Joe, Denise and their family in your prayers.
Linda Pagel had knee surgery recently. Please keep these
members and any others in distress in your thoughts and
prayers, especially during this holiday season.
