WELCOME to the Crocked Pot!

Happy Holidays!

The Crocked Pot crashed the past couple

months, but this month it’s plugged in and

ready to go.

Would you like to have caramelized onions on

hand for roasts, burgers, hot dogs, pork chops,

chicken, ok, just about anything? And only 3

Ingredients!

Simply follow this recipe and freeze in zip loc

bags for future use.

3-5# Yellow Onions (4-5 large onions)

3 T Olive Oil or Butter

½ tsp Salt

1.

Peel & thinly slice all onions in half-

moons.

2.

Drizzle olive oil or melted butter and salt

over top of onions. Toss to coat evenly.

3.

Cover and cook on LOW for 10 hours.

Stir occasionally (yes, I know you are

normally not supposed to lift that lid, but

it’s ok here)

4.

Optional-if you want jammier,

concentrated, deeper colored onions,

cook an additional 3-5 hours on low.

Leave the lid ajar so the liquid can

escape.
