At the preliminary examination

persons seeking to

be bound as apprentices to solicitors, held on the 19th

and 20th October, the following candidates were al

lowed the examiuation, and their names are arranged

in order of merit, viz.:—

admitted solicitors, held on the 21st and 22nd October,

The Court of Examiners have awarded silver medals

to John Hoy and A. W. Winder, and special certificates

to Joseph Glyun, George M'Elroy, James M'Anliffe,

C. L. M'Lorinan, and Henry O. Loan. The remaining '

candidates were postponed.

The Findlater Scholarship for 1891 has been awarded

to Michael Howley.
