Rotary draw tube and pipe
left- and right-hand bender
ERCOLINAhas launched the Topbender
TB130DST rotary draw left- and right-
hand bender. With capacity up to 130mm
(5") tube, the TB130DST is suitable for
producing consistent quality bends in
large pipe, tube, squares, solids and
other profiles.
Tooling is available with bend
centreline radius as small as two times
the material diameter. A patented quick-
change tooling system with multiple radii
is also available.
An interactive PLC touchscreen
provides the operator with easy access to
auto and manual bending modes, angle
programming, machine diagnostics and
multiple language capability.
The system can memorise bend
angles from 0° to 180° with 12 individual
bends per program, and independent
spring back compensation is offered for
each bend.
A USB port allows software updates
and storage of unlimited programs,
and the digital display monitors counter
bend die axis position and bend
angle.
The machine’s gear head is
manufactured from high-grade cast
iron matched with high-precision
planetary reducer, for reliability and
repeatability with minimum maintenance
requirements.
The machine is protected by auto load
sensing, and all electrical components
are UL, CSA and CE approved.
There are no hydraulic components,
reducing cost and improving bend
accuracy and productivity.
