introduced a servo roll former for tube
OD capacity of ¾". The servo roll
former can be tooled for either rolling
or cutting operations. It features servo-
driven ball screw roll forming unit and
quick and easy machine setup. This roll
former also offers the same industrial
package as Manchester Tool & Die’s
Model 24008-HS grooving machine.

The servo
roll former
Automatic
de-burr
KENT Corporation has developed a
new Burrmaster de-burring machine to
automatically de-burr the ends of mitre
cut and bent tubes. This machine was
purchased by a major US manufacturer
of exhaust systems. This is the
company’s second system and it is now
considering the purchase of a third.
The Burrmaster machine allows
the operator to control the machine
completely from the push button
station. The process begins when
tube is loaded into the custom clamp
fixture by the machine operator. The
tube is then clamped and transferred
across a spinning wide-faced brush.
The head of the spinning brush is also
rotated simultaneously. This dual action
movement gives a high quality and
consistent finish around the tube.
