Provisional Rules as to the Renewal of

Decrees,

Dismisses,

and Orders

upon

Affidavits sworn out of Court, made by the

Lord Chancellor and County Court Judges,

and dated the 12th day of July, 1910.

1. Every affidavit

to be used for

the

purpose of obtaining a

renewal of any

Decree, Dismiss or Order, when the same is

sworn otherwise than before a Judge in open

Court, shall be sworn within the seven days

immediately preceding the first day of the

Sittings of the Court for the place at which

the application for such Renewal is intended

to be made, and no Order for Renewal shall

be made upon any such affidavit not sworn

within the time aforesaid.

2. When the application is made by a

Solicitor he shall certify at the foot of the

affidavit that, to the best of his knowledge

and belief, the full amount therein stated to

be due for debt and costs is still unpaid.

3. The Commissioner for Oaths, Justice of

the Peace, or other authorised person before

whom such affidavit shall be sworn shall state

in the jurat the name of the place where such

affidavit has been sworn, and every such

Justice of the Peace shall also set forth the

County, City Borough, or other place for

which he has been appointed or is entitled

to act as Justice of the Peace.

mental to the Rules of the 1st day of June,

1909.
