Combined Smoke/Heat Detector
This photoelectric smoke detector with heat sensor
is available in a 2-wire or 4-wire unit. Easy to install,
with a plug-in design, the large wire entry port and
in-line terminals provide ample room for neatly
routing wiring inside the base. Base accommodates
a variety of back box mounting methods as well as
direct mounting with drywall anchors.

First Alert® Carbon Monoxide Alarm
The CO Alarm features a digital display that
lights up for easy readings. Electrochemical CO
sensing allows greater temperature and humidity
variations for accurate detection. Peak Level
Memory stores and displays the highest CO
level detected. Detector will alarm at 70, 150 and
400 PPM, and can be tested using the front test
button or remotely using most standard IR remote
controls. The unit plugs directly into a standard
non-switched outlet, or use the 7' line cord for
multiple placement options. Two AA batteries
(included) provide battery backup and can be
changed without unplugging the monitor.

Heat Detector
Heat Detector connects easily tomost commercial
fire alarm systems. For use in areas where property
protection is required such as boiler rooms,
kitchens, medicine or linen storage areas. Rate-of-
rise models respond to a temperature increase of
15° F/minute, sensing flash fires even before the
135° or 194° fixed temperature is reached.

Photoelectric Smoke Detector

The Gentex Smoke Detector is a 120 VAC photoelectric single station smoke detector designed to
provide reliable early warning of smoke where both audible and visual alarms are required. Operates
on the “light scatter” principle, utilizing a pulsing LED light source and a photodiode sensor in a fully
screened sensing chamber. Smoke entering the chamber deflects the infrared beam and triggers the
alarm. During the alarm period, the strobe will flash at a brightness of 177 candela, 60 times per minute.
