Used for fast, simple testing and fault identification in three wire, 125 V circuits
without probes or meters. Plugs in to test U-ground receptacles. Tests for open
ground, reverse polarity, open hot, open neutral, hot and ground reversed, and
hot on neutral. Neon indicating lights and color-coded lenses provide visual
indication of circuit condition or incorrect wiring.

Receptacle Tensio
Provides a simple way to check the spring contact tension of a standard straight
blade receptacle. Designed to test outlets with the following ratings: 15 A, 125 V,
two pole, two wire; 15 A, 125 V, two pole, three wire; 20 A,125 V, two pole, three
wire. Completely insulated in an impact-resistant plastic housing and is safe to
use on energized receptacles. Each blade has an independent spring to relieve
stress and assure consistent readings over a long life. When tension falls below
10 oz, monitor the receptacle closely for further deterioration. Tension of 4 oz
is the lowest point which a receptacle should be allowed to remain in service.
