The game was originally set to take place on
November 25, but was postponed due to adverse
weather conditions.
What's at Stake
A victory of any kind will put Les Kiss' team into
the top four and above Scarlets with just five
rounds of play remaining and provide Ulster
with the opportunity to reach the Championship
knock-out stages for the fifth time. Scarlets
lead Ulster by just one point in the table and not
only would victory put the men from Kingspan
Stadium into fourth, they would close the gap on
Munster Rugby, who they play in Round 20.
This will be the first of three remaining home
fixtures for Ulster in their last six games, however,
they still have to play the top three teams in the
Championship – Leinster Rugby, Ospreys Rugby
& Munster – and those fixtures will have a big
impact on whether or not they reach the Final
Series.
