SAFETY
PARKING AIDS
The front and rear parking aids are designed
to alert the driver with an audible warning to
the presence of nearby objects. Arrows on
the centre console Touchscreen provide
further information on their location in
relation to the vehicle.
PARK ASSIST
Our Park Assist system makes parallel parking
in a tight spot easier than ever by steering
your car into a suitable space. You just have
to select the appropriate gear and control
the car's speed. Park Assist will also steer you
out of a space, taking all of the stress out of
parking. Graphics and notifications guide you
through both manoeuvres.
AUTO HIGH BEAM ASSIST
The Auto High Beam Assist system
automatically switches between low and
high beam when necessary, using a sensor
mounted at the front of the rear view mirror.
LED FRONT LIGHTING SYSTEM
This system automatically provides the best
possible illumination in all driving situations
by adjusting F-TYPE's headlight beam to
your speed and the weather conditions.
At slower speeds it widens the low beam
to illuminate your peripheral vision, helping
you to see pedestrians and junctions.
At higher speeds the system raises and
narrows the low beam for extended visibility.
PEDESTRIAN CONTACT
SENSING SYSTEM
Help protect the people outside your car
as well as those inside. If the car makes
contact with a pedestrian, our industry-
leading Pedestrian Contact Sensing System
is designed to automatically raise the bonnet
to help cushion a potential impact.

ADVANCED DRIVER ASSISTANCE
REAR VIEW CAMERA
This option combines a rear-facing camera
with Touchscreen information. It features
coloured distance guides and on-screen
guidance lines that move according to
steering wheel angle to indicate the area
into which the car will reverse.

from reducing the chance of a motorway collision to avoiding minor bumps in a car park. This range of advanced active
and passive safety systems give you the reassurance, information and control to focus on the pleasure of the drive.
EMERGENCY BRAKING
In an emergency braking situation, your
car is always ready. If a potential collision
is detected, the car will give you a forward
collision warning, giving you time to take
action. If a collision is still anticipated and
you have taken no action, our Emergency
Braking system will apply the brakes to help
reduce the severity of the possible impact.

BLIND SPOT MONITOR AND
REVERSE TRAFFIC DETECTION*
Blind Spot Monitor alerts you to vehicles or
obstacles beside F-TYPE, as well as ones
approaching from a distance behind, via an
icon displayed in the appropriate exterior
mirror. Reverse Traffic Detection alerts you
via the Touchscreen of moving vehicles
during reversing.
