RESPECT MARKS
Please note there is a difference between the areas of Respect Marks and the Fair Play marks
given in the separate question.
Respect Marks are either a Yes/No or out of 5 for each question as listed below. The individual
mark/answer is to be entered onto Full Time at the prior to inputting results.
This mark is based purely on your match day
RESPECT
match day experience.
Consideration of point deductions for the following areas, where committed by clubs, players,
managers or supporters.
1.
RESPECT lines not present
2.
No RESPECT handshake
3.
No Orange Respect bib on visible display
4.
Managers/ coaches not on the opposite side to the field of play from the spectators.
5.
Failure to show respect to the opposition i.e. not apologising after 'putting in a hard tackle'.
6.
Encouraging unfair play
7.
Criticising players performances (from their own team or the opposition)
8.
Arguing with the referee / questioning the referees decision
9.
Losing control of temper
10. Shouting abuse

In the unlikely event of a caution or a sending off being given by the referee the following marks are to
be deducted from the total.

Caution –2 marks

Sending off – 5 marks
Expectations
The following are expectations from both managers and parents towards the players:

To be guided through their team/game with sympathy and encouragement
·
Allowed to play without constant hindrance from the side lines
·
To be supported and applauded for good play and behaviour by all
·
Not to be criticised for mistakes
·
To be set a good example by adults
