gastritis (up to 90 %)

Eradication of
H. pylori
results in regression of lymphoma in
70 %

Median time to histologic response 5 months, PCR evidence of
monoclonality may persist in 50 - 75 % (not an indication for
further treatment)
•
Relapse rate 15 % in 2 years, strict endoscopic follow-up with
multiple biopsies required
