BRANDY SMASH
14. teaspoonful of sugar
3 sprigs of fresh mint
1 jigger Martell brandy
Fill glass with shaved ice; stir well with spoon; orna
ment with fruit in season, and serve.
Gin Smash or Whiskey Smash may be made by sub
stituting either.
GIN SLING
The Gin Sling is made with the same ingredients as
the Gin Toddy, except that you grate a little nutmeg
on top.

HOT SCOTCH WHISKEY SLING
y% lump of sugar
M glass hot water
1 piece of lemon peel
1 jigger Scotch whiskey
Grate a little nutmeg, and serve.
