PS Costruzioni has recently pioneered its latest cable
packaging line model, the new double automatic spooling
line, mod PS 630/15 2B, a reminder of PS’s commitment
to material technology-based innovation and product
development. This machine, which has the capability to
execute the manufacturing process fully automatically
and using the operator as a supervisor, has already been
installed at some of the most demanding customers
throughout the world, who are taking advantage of its
engineering excellence and high level of performance.
Customer feedback on this new product has already led to
a high sense of satisfaction for everyone at PS Costruzioni.
Another outstanding strength of the machine is that it can
be operated on three shifts, immediately giving customers
the chance to maximise their investment.
This line has been conceived to work with the following
technical features:
• Spools diameter: from 400mm up to 630mm
• Flexible cable diameter: from 6mm up to 15mm
• Rigid cable diameter: from 6mm up to 10mm
• Flat cable: width from 4mm up to 16mm
• Thickness from 4mm up to 7mm
• Full spool max weight: 150 kg
• Spools wrap material: stretch film
Production:
Linear speed ranging from 0 up to 400/500m per minute,
depending on the cable type, length in metres to be wound
and diameter of the reel barrel. The line consists of:
• 1 driven pay off
• 1 accumulator
• 1 metre counter + 1 spark tester
• 1 double automatic spooling head (400/630)
• 1 labelling machine
• 1 automatic pallet unit
• 1 automatic pallet wrapper
This machine is available in different models, depending on
spool dimensions and can be tailored to each individual
customer’s requirements.
