EXAMINATION RESULTS.

At the preliminary examination for intending

apprentices to solicitors, held on 25th and 26th

May, the following passed the examination,

and their names are placed in order of merit :—

1. Archibald B. Warren.

2. Henry B. C. Moore.

3. John Grogan.

4. John H. G. Majury.

5. James L. McLoughlin.

William J. Craig, Thomas B. Erskine, and

Henry T. Henchy have passed the modified

preliminary examination, for which they had

liberty to present themselves.

The remaining candidates are postponed.

At the final examination for apprentices

applying for admission as solicitors, held on

29th, 30th, and 31st May, the following passed

the examination, and their names are placed

in order of merit :—

2. Thomas V. Davy, B.A., N.U.I.

3. Thomas O'Neill.

4. Joseph C. Erskine.

5. John J. Walsh.

6. Thomas A. W. Purefoy, B.A., T.C.D.

The Council have awarded Silver Medals to

James Hanna and Thomas V. Davy, B.A.,

N.U.I., and Special Certificates to Thomas

O'Neill, Joseph C.' Erskine, John J. Walsh and

The remaining candidates are postponed.
