of Sioveh Illustration, Nandita Dhindsa. She was born in India
in 1984, and studied Solar Power Engineering in Budapest,
Hungary before turning to illustration and design. She has lived
in several countries and now lives in Bangalore, India.
Working internationally, she creates motifs, portraits and

Her experimental work explores various styles and subjects,
leaning toward an urban illustration style influenced by Japanese
art. Her work has been reviewed variously by online curators
Cupick and Polka Cafe, and she has conducted workshops for
premier French accelerator NUMA at their branch in Bangalore.
For this issue, Nandita has created chapter illustrations based
on traditional Ukrainian dress, the key pieces of which are
headdresses made of flowers for women, and embroidered
white shirts for men.
