village girl Darusya and her family in reverse chronological
order, eventually revealing the childhood sources of the
trauma at the end of the novel. The novel is currently being
made into a feature film.

(Таня Малярчук,
born in Ivano-Frankivsk, 1983) seems to distance herself
from contemporary trends in finding her own literary
