Biophysical Journal will publish a special issue of the Journal with a focus on Electron
Cryomicroscopy (cryo-EM). The Journal welcomes submissions that report on advances
in the field of cryo-EM and its applications. Studies should further our understanding
of cryo-EM imaging, cryogenic sample preparation techniques, or image analysis and
reconstruction methods used in cryo-EM. The Journal aims to publish the highest
quality work and articles should have sufficient importance to be of general interest
to biophysicists, regardless of their research specialty.
