Motion artifacts

• Motion artifacts propagate mainly in the phase-encoding direction.

Motion between phase encoding steps will corrupt the phase-encoding,

resulting in ghosts

• Signal sampling in the read-out direction is usually faster than

physiological motion and may produce only some spatial blurring

The image cannot be displayed. Your computermay not have enoughmemory to open the image, or the imagemay have been corrupted. Restart your computer, and then open the file again. If the red x still appears, youmay have to delete the image and then insert it again.
