• Typical rotation time for current CT scanners is

about 0.3 – 0.4 s

• C-arm mounted FPD CT scanners (dental

applications, interventional radiology, cardiac

applications) rotate in about 10 - 60 seconds (partial

rot.),

• FPD CT scans on a Linac are slow; a full 360º

rotation takes 60 s
