LOSS REPORTING TIPS
Minimize the number of teammates involved by delegating a teammate(s) to be
responsible for managing the loss-reporting process.
Cross–train back-up personnel in the loss-reporting process.
Maintain an inventory of

Encourage teammates to report work-related injuries and illnesses immediately.
When a teammate does not report for work, inquire to see if the absence is work related.
Gather names and addresses of witnesses.
Provide

immediately if you become aware of unusual circumstances
or suspicious claims.
If the occupational injury or illness has developed into a lost-time claim, immediately report
