THROUGHOUT TEAMMATE’S RECOVERY
Maintain contact with the injured teammate.
Communicate your concern.
Discuss alternative jobs.
Maintain contact with your Sedgwick CMS claim examiner.
Obtain details of treatment and work restrictions.
Obtain an updated medical slip with any restrictions for the injured teammate.
Depending on the claim,
Sedgwick CMS
may need more information than what
was originally reported.
Provide additional information, if necessary.
Provide return-to-work status.
Maintain an injury management record.
Your injury management record should be a hard copy file including the following:
Injury report—include all information
Job description and restrictions
Log of all communication related
to claim including the date, name
of the contact and description of
the discussion
Teammate return-to-work conditions
Any and all pertinent records related
to the injury
