BIG BALLOT

Each year the URSC presents a Jack Kyle

Bursary Award (currently worth £2500)

to one of Ulster’s promising youngsters

from the Hughes Insurance Ulster Rugby

Academy - internationals Craig Gilroy, Iain

Henderson & Stuart Olding are but 3 of the

players who have benefited from our Bursary

in the past. Last year it was scrum half Dave

Shanahan. The Jack Kyle Bursary is largely

funded by URSC’s annual “Big Ballot” -

where fans buy ballot tickets in the hope of

winning prizes donated by local sponsors.

Among the Big Ballot prizes this year are:

Castle Golf Club

URSC has negotiated a reduced price on

tickets for the Barbarians v Fiji match at

Kingspan Stadium on Friday 11th November.

West Terrace at £22 each

(normal purchase price = £25)

Grandstand at £36 each

(normal purchase price = £40)

(If possible, please have correct cash price.

If preferred, please make cheques payable

to U.R.S.C.)

Tickets will be on sale from the URSC

Information point behind the Memorial Stand

before tonight’s match and Ulster v Munster

(Friday 28th October).

Tickets may also be purchased at the URSC

‘Meet the Players’ evening in H3 Lounge on

Monday 24th October.

All members buying tickets directly from

URSC will go into a draw to win a Barbarians

Polo Shirt autographed by the Ulster players

playing for the Baa Baas. To date, Ruan

Pienaar and Dan Tuohy have been named in

the squad. It is possible (maybe even likely)

that one or two others may feature.

For any member who cannot be at one of

those three events, please email enquiries@

ursc.co.uk

giving your name, address,

membership number(s) and the number and

type of tickets required. This information will

be passed to Ulster Rugby to arrange tickets

directly (reduced price subject to availability).

URSC would encourage those attending

who would normally bring “flegs” to a match,

to bring “flegs” of the countries represented

throughout the Baa Baas squad and/or

Fiji, if at all possible, and to contribute to

this exciting occasion!
