“A NEW YEAR’S PRAYER”
At this time of new discoveries,
Dear Lord, we pray for the sight
to see new paths opening to us,
So that we may take our first
steps toward the future with our
hearts full of joy.
At this time of the year turning,
Dear Lord, we pray for the
wisdom of all that
has gone before,
So that we may carry the gift
of memory with light and
grateful hands.
At this time of fresh beginnings,
Dear Lord, we pray for the
light that is Your love,
So that we may carry the
blessings of Your grace
to all we meet.
It is always difficult to handle the loss of a loved one. It is especially
hard during the holiday season. Member, Lori Carnaghi, lost her
father shortly before Christmas. Please remember their family in
your thoughts and prayers at this time.
Longtime member and husband of Marie, Bill Yowan, was
hospitalized on December 15
th
for tests. We are hoping that he will
be out of the hospital soon.
Longtime member of NCYC, Sharon Wood, spouse of John Prochaska, passed away peacefully
in her sleep the morning of January 13
th.,
2015. Sharon had been going through extensive rehab
since her recent surgeries, progressing as expected with a very optimistic attitude. Cremation
will take place at this time. Arrangements for a memorial service at a later date will be conveyed
in a future fan out. Please remember Sharon, John and their families in your prayers.
