Differential diagnosis: acinic cell carcinoma
High grade transformation: possible
CRIBRIFORM ADENOCARCINOMA OF THE TONGUE AND MSGs
Only minor salivary glands involved
Relatively high risk of nodal metastasis at presentation (60%)
Rearrangement of PRKD genes found in more than 80% of the cases
Differential diagnosis: polymorphus low grade adenocarcinoma
Good prognosis
