annual Austin, Texas festival of

music, film and interactive

media was suitably brimming

with talent, and the Australian

artists made a fantastic

showing: DMA’s, Gold Class

and Troye Sivan all received

impressive crowd responses,

while Big White and Methyl

Ethel did an excellent job in

solidifying their live

released last month),

P-Funk pioneer George

Clinton, British young gun

Jack Garratt, old-school

post-punk group The Cult,

the ever-amazing

CHVRCHES, Philadelphia

four-piece Beach Slang,

Mexican indie chicks HINDS,

the Norwegian fairy Aurora and

no-intro-needed Iggy Pop.

How's that for a look-in? If

there's anyone on that list

you've yet to listen to, I'd highly

recommend getting a guernsey

at each and every one. And

now, I think I deserve some

downtime, and a nap. Until next
