For example, if Joe Brown, a client, comes into reception, The TOP DRAWER will
furnish you with pertinent information such as:-
* his wife's name, whether he has any children and their names;
* whether he has made a will and when;
* a summary of all his files, the fee earners dealing with them and any messages for him;
* whether or not he is good to pay his bills or if there is an amount outstanding;
* if he has referred business to the firm recently so that you can thank him.
Later when he tells you about his Road Traffic Accident (RTA) The TOP DRAWER will
tell you if there might be a conflict of interest in taking his case.
With The TOP DRAWER your office can also produce:-
* a list of all cases in the hands of a certain Barrister;
* a list of all RTA's involving a particular insurance company;
* a list of all work done which has not been invoiced;
* a list of all files by category, e.g. Debt collection, Company Law, RTA, Conveyancing;
* a mail shot to any selection of clients that you care to mention, e.g. all clients who own
property, are married, have children and have no will.

on any IBM Compatible PC, and most MS-DOS based Networks (like Novelle). The TOP
DRAWER is multi-user, so if you have a network the whole firm can use it.
