INSULATION SHIELD-TGIS

Insulation shield must be used any time the

chimney system passes through an attic. This

is used to prevent the insulation from coming

in contact with the pipe. Note: This part is

required on any attic pass-through situation,

regardless if insulation is present or not.

The ceiling support is designed to support

the chimney from the floor or the ceiling joists

with the same clearance as the chimney. The

assembly consists of fire stop plate and short

section of chimney pipe. It will support 60 feet

of pipe.
