PRO12RUGBY.COM
Ladies and Gentlemen,
Welcome back to more exciting rugby in Round 6 of the
Guinness PRO12.
The 142 tries scored and the 4.73 average try per match to date
is our highest ever since the tournament went ‘home & away’ in
2003/04.
We have seen an increase in both attendances and TV audiences
on last season so well done to all in providing entertainment on
& off the pitch!
Both teams’ supporters always add a lot of colour and noise
to these occasions and their friendly banter warms up many a
hostelry and stadium whenever and wherever they play !
Long may it continue!
We wish all of our 12 clubs the very best of luck in the new
European Rugby Champions Cup and European Rugby Challenge
Cup which start next week. In addition to hoping all do well this
year, there’s already a lot of interest in the qualification through
the Guinness PRO12 for next year’s European tournaments which
heightens the drama and excitement throughout this season too.
We wish the players, coaches and match officials all the very best
for what should be an exciting and entertaining match today!
ENJOY!
