TECHNOLOGY

This course is designed to provide an

introduction into the function and operation of

steering and suspension components as an

aid to diagnostics. The interrelation of parts in

dynamic steering systems makes the correct

installation and adjustment of steering parts

increasingly important. Vehicle stability and

the service life for the components can be

compromised if correct installation processes

are not followed. The course is aimed at garage

based and mobile service technicians.

PREREQUISITES

There are no formal entry requirements

for this qualification.

On completion of this qualification, and the

successfully passing of the end of course

examination the candidate will be awarded

and IMI QAA certificate of competence.
