A.1 Ensuring data delivery from an operational, One Stop Data Shop (OSDS) to provide a comprehensive searchable overview of existing marine
geoscientific data;

15 major data holders around the globe contributed to population of OSDS
database with their marine geological and geophysical data. OSDS developed into
the most comprehensive source of marine scientific data today.

All newly and previously acquired data integrated into the OSDS online web tool
and in-house search engine (Area Generator). Implementation of a Google Earth
version of the online tool.

Around 200 participants received training in the use of data from the OSDS. OSDS
data the major source in the work in West Africa, Somalia and the Pacific.
A.2 Training of personnel to carry out the delineation process and make submissions to the CLCS
Contacts made with 68 developing coastal states and small island developing
states through official correspondence, informal email, teleconferences, meetings
and training workshops.

discussions with the UNEP Shelf Programme and the legal department of the
Norwegian MoFA.
