Mini-Circuits’ Ultra-
Wideband Precision Fixed
Attenuator Die, DC to 26.5GHz
Mini-Circuits’ YAT-9-D+ is a fixed
value, absorptive MMIC attenuator
die providing 9dB attenuation with
±0.6dB attenuation flatness from DC
to 26.5GHz. A simple modification to
the ground plane enables excellent
performance all the way up to 40GHz,
supporting requirements applications
in the millimeter wave region such
as 5G systems (see application note
AN-70-019 on our website). This
model provides RF power handling
up to 2W, and unpackaged die
form enables users to integrate the
attenuator directly into hybrids where
small size and light weight are critical.
The die contains through-wafer
Cu metallization vias to realize low
thermal resistance and very wideband
operation. YAT attenuator dice are
available from stock with nominal
attenuation values from 0 to 10dB (in
1dB steps), and 12, 15, 20, and 30dB.

Surface-Mount Limiter, 30 to
6000 MHz, +12 to +32 dBm
Mini-Circuits’ RLM-63-2W+ is a
passive PIN diode surface-mount
limiter ideal for protecting LNAs and
other sensitive receiver circuitry from
unwanted high power signals and
reducing amplitude variations in IF
circuits for satellite receivers, LNAs
and other applications. This model
covers a wide range of applications
from 30 to 6000MHz. It provides a
wide input power range from +12
to +32dBm, low output power of
+11.5dBm, 0.4dB Δ output / 1dB Δ
input (typical), 10ns recovery time, 0.3
dB insertion loss, and 1.2:1 VSWR. It
comes housed in a miniature, 6-lead
package (0.25x0.31x0.16”), with
wraparound terminations for excellent
solderability.
