repay principal—Failure by Mortgagor to
repay money on day named—Liability of
Mortgagor for six months' interest.
THIS case raised a question of some, im
portance in the practice relating to mort
gages, viz. :
whether, where the mortgagee
has given notice to the mortgagor to pay off
the mortgage, and the mortgagor has failed
to do so on the date named, but immediately
afterwards has tendered the mortgage money
