OBITUARY
MR. ARTHUR WILLIAM STIRLING, Solicitor, died at his
residence 49 Leeson Park, Dublin, on the I5th
March, 1949.
Mr. Stirling was admitted in Trinity Sittings, 1894,
and practised at 52 Dame St., Dublin, as senior
partner in die firm of Messrs. Fred Sutton & Co. He
was a member of the Council of this Society from die
year 1918 to 1924, and Vice-President for the year
1922/23.
MR, GEORGE BAXTER, Solicitor, died at Broadway
House, Carlingford, Co. Louth, on the 2jth March,
1949.
Mr. Baxter served his apprenticeship widi the late
Mr. A. M. Lyons, Sligo, was admitted in Trinity
Sittings, 1910, and practised at Birr until his retire
ment in 1937.
MR. VINCENT P. McMuLLiN, Solicitor, died at his
residence, The Grove, Stranorlar, Co. Donegal, on
the 4th April, 1949.
Mr. McMullin served his apprenticeship widi the
late Mr. Henry T. Gallagher, Strabane, was admitted
in Trinity Sittings, 1921, and practised at Ballybofey,
Co. Donegal.
MR. JOHN W. BUGGY, Solicitor, died at his residence,
Castleview, Kilkenny, on the 5th April, 1949.
Mr. Buggy served his apprenticeship with the late
Mr. Michael Buggy, Kilkenny, was admitted in
Hilary Sittings, 1911, and practised at Kilkenny.
