as Valuers
for Probates, Property and
Furniture Valuations, and
the giving of
evidence as to values of land, and all other
purposes for which valuations are required.
The Council gave instructions for a letter
in reply.
OBITUARY.
MR. RANDALL A. HOWE, Solicitor, died
on the 1st May at his residence, 3 Sydenham
Villas, Bray.
Mr. Howe was admitted in
Michaelmas Sittings 1879, and practised at
19 Eustace Street, Dublin.
MR. WILLIAM H. DUNNE, Solicitor, died
on the 9th May, at his residence, Bartra,
Eglinton Road, Dublin.
Mr. Dunne was
admitted in Easter term, 1876, and practised
at 51 Dame Street, Dublin till 1885 when
on being appointed Solicitor to the National
Bank, he removed to 7 Suffolk Street, where
he continued till 1925 when he retired from
the service of the Bank. From 1887 to
1909 Mr. Dunne was a member of the Council,
and was in 1897-98 President of the Society.
MR. MICHAEL BUGGY, Solicitor, died on
the llth May, 1935, during a sea voyage
on board S.S. Washington. Mr. Buggy was
admitted in Michaelmas Sittings, 1881, and
practised at 28 Parliament Street, Kilkenny.
From 1907 till 1931 Mr. Buggy was Pro
vincial Delegate for Leinster on the Council.
MR. JOHN MORAN, Solicitor, died on the
16th May, 1935. Mr. Moran served
his
apprenticeship with the late Mr. M. L. Horan,
Dublin, was admitted
in Hilary Sittings,
1897, and practised at 34 Lr. Ormond Quay,
Dublin, until 1933, when he retired.
MR.
ARTHUR W.
DEVENISH-MEARES,
Solicitor, died on
the 23rd May at his
residence, Luceila, Newry. Mr. Devenish
Meares was admitted in Michaelmas Sittings,
1901 and practised at Newry till 1920 when
he was appointed Clerk of Petty Sessions
for Newry, which office he held until his
death.
