Part 1 of 3
Hello, my name is Dr. Doug Markham, and I would like to introduce
myself to you as part of the MVET team and e-newsletter contributor
to help enhance your knowledge related to your health and well-
being. I’m a 1984 graduate of Palmer College of Chiropractic in
Davenport, Iowa with post-graduate training in Clinical Nutrition and
Diagnostic Preventative Medicine.
I’m also the author of several books including
Beyond Atkins
and the
founder of Dr. Doug’s Total Health Weight Loss, Wellness and
Fitness Management System that has helped thousands of people
lose weight, and achieve a healthy lifestyle with many of the
participants who no longer needing medications for diseases such
as high blood pressure, high cholesterol, and adult-onset diabetes.
The idea behind the
Total Health
program that aligns itself with the
MVET philosophy is that you have the absolute right to health,
happiness, and prosperity! You work hard to provide for yourself and
your loved ones. Compromise and sacrifice are part of life.
Unfortunately, it's all too easy to compromise your physical and
mental health along the way.
And that's a crime. Because if you've sacrificed your health, you'll end up
spending your hard-earned resources on medical bills treating a
lifetime of poor health choices. It's hard to enjoy the fruits of your labor
when the lifestyle you've worked so hard for is limited by deteriorated
health.
