C-276

Maximum service

temperature 1000°F (538°C) in

oxidizing and reducing atmospheres.

Excellent resistance to corrosion in

aqueous chemical process

applications including ferric, and

cupric chlorides, sea water and brine

solutions, chlorine, formic and acetic

acids, wet chlorine gas, hypochlorite

chlorine dioxide. It is also frequently

used in flue gas desulphurization

systems, since it has excellent

resistance to sulfur and chloride

ions.
