• Calculates in 3-D.
• More accurate in calculation of dose in areas with
inhomogeneities than Pencil Beam
• Accuracy is greater than Pencil Beam both within the
inhomogenous area itself and also in areas beyond it
(e.g. paranasal sinus, oesophagus)
