The Naval Science Depart–
ment
is a
program which pro–
vides a course of study for stu–
dents Interested In becoming
officers in the United States
Navy or Marine Corps. The pro–
gram Is not limited to Naval Sci–
ence classes (naval weapons
systems, ship systems,
engi–
neering, seapower, and mari–
time affairs, and navigators),
but also includes a variety of
professional, intramural and
social activities dealgned to
stimulate both leadership and
technical skills.
