Dear Guests, Partners and Friends,
Dear Readers and Explorers of Munich,
for the past six years we have organised an annual project to raise
money for charity - always along with our partners, customers and
friends. For the first four years, these projects consisted of small (and
sometimes larger) works of art. Then in 2016, we published our first
book, the BBQ Cook Book. We are very pleased that you now hold
our second book in your hands, »Lieblingsorte« (favourite spots).
Our aim in publishing this book was to create a guide containing
the very favourite places of Munich's residents, by making use of
the insider knowledge of our guests, partners and friends. All the
suggestions are genuine tips from people who truly know Munich
and Bavaria – 100 % authentic, from beginning to end. Chances
are, you just might bump into one of our knowledgable »guides«
next time you visit one of the many venues listed in these pages.
Our project team has made personal contact with each and
every venue, collected pictures and offers, and hast formatted
all the entries into the book you now hold in your hands. By purcha-
sing this guide you can support a charitable cause without any
deductions whatsoever.
Charity is important to us. Throughout the year, we support various
organisations whose activities support a good cause. This year, with
your help, we would like to support the Schneekristalle Foundation,
founded by Michaela Gerg, whose vision is to enable disadvan-
taged children to look forward to a self-determined and a self-
assured future, through sporting activities. 100 % of the proceeds
from the purchase of »Lieblingsorte« will be donated to the Schnee-
kristalle Foundation. Why not grab a copy for yourself and gift
some to friends and family? The more money earned from sales
of this guide, the more lives the Schneekristalle Foundation can
