In Table 1, The footnote “generally not reported separately” also applies to aspartic
acid/asparagine and also glutamic acid/glutamine as these pairs of amino acids are also
“generally not reported separately” when HCl hydrolysis is used.
We agree. The footnote should
be “generally not reported separately when acidic hydrolysis conditions are used” and add “**”
to aspartic acid, asparagine, glutamic acid and glutamine in the table 1.
