AfriSam acquired its Peninsula Aggregate quarry
almost 30 years ago. This quarry produces
quality aggregates for the construction and built
environment, the civils industry, the precast and
retail sector.
During 2014, AfriSam erected a 70 m³ per hour
readymix plant at Saldanha Bay to ensure that
customers across the entire Saldanha municipal
area have ready access to quality concrete.
AfriSam operates a fleet of over 50 readymix
trucks in the Western Cape transporting this
material from its six readymix plants in the
area, including the recently established plant
in the Saldanha Bay Industrial Development
Zone, to customers across the Western Cape.
Its aggregates are supplied from quarries in
Durbanville and Malmesbury.
