Many great things happened in 1992. The Jays won their
first World Series. Roberta Bondar was the first Canadian

E. The most important thing,
however, was our graduation! Can you believe that we will
be celebrating our 25th Reunion this fall? We are hoping
that we can get at least 25 of us together to celebrate this
milestone – but, obviously, the more the merrier! Mark your
calendars: Saturday, September 23, 2017! We hope to see
your families during the day at Celebration Saturday and all
of you in the evening for the cocktail reception at the school
and a venue TBC afterwards with our class. We have a few
plans in the works and we will get in touch with everyone
closer to the date.
Congratulations to
Nancy Barbour
who gave birth to
Evelyn Anne in August. The two of them are very happy and
healthy and living in Ottawa. A big thank you from all of us to
Melanie Plet
, who completed her term as HOGA president.
Jennifer Chubb Newton
also serves on HOGA as the Junior
School liaison.

won twoAVAmarketing awards for two
fundraising campaigns at North York General Hospital, where
she is the V-P of the Foundation.
Claudine Chen-Young
is
a partner at Morgan, Lewis & Bockius LLP in Washington.
She was named one of the 25 greater-Washington business
leaders for the Minority Business Leader Awards. Honourees
were selected from nominations by a panel of judges and
Washington Business Journal
staff. The awards celebrate the
region’s top minority business owners and executives, each
exemplifying a dedication to ethics, giving and leadership.
Rachel DeBlois
presented a workshop at the OMLTA
conference (for French teachers) about the fun and engaging
projects that she does in her classroom. It was well received
and teachers from around the province have asked her to
help them start the projects in their schools!
