1. Prepare your pressure canner by filling

with 2 to 3 inches of water. Place the rack

into the bottom of the pressure canner

and warm the water over a medium heat.

Important: Do not place jars into boiling

water, the water should be warm not

boiling.

Processing Jars Using a Pressure Canner

All low acid foods need to be processed using a pressure canner. The

steps included below apply to both weighted or dial gauge pressure canners

but always check with the manufacturer instructions for safe use.
