Abrasives
Design:
Aluminium oxide (A24, A30, A46, A60), with fibre-reinforced
resin bond for long life and grinding performance. Standard bore
22.23 mm.
Application:
Ideal for steel, cutting, profiling of sheet and solid metal.
Thin cutting discs (1.0–1.9 mm thick) are ideal for fast and convenient
de-burring, 2.4 mm for universal cutting jobs and 3.0 to 3.2 mm for
maximum tool life with high lateral stability.
Note:
For more safety and higher lateral stability when working with
cutting discs from 178 mm ∅, we recommend using a spanner flange,
see (Order No. 8110 0010

Bearbeitung von Edelstahl
empfehlen sich grundsätzlich
nur
eisen- und schwefelfreie Werkzeuge.
Zudem sollten Sie ein
Werkzeug nach der Bearbeitung von Normalstahl nicht für Edelstahl
verwenden. An dem Werkzeug befinden sich Rückstände des Normal-
stahls. Diese Rückstände zerstören jede Edelstahllegierung und führen
somit zur Rostbildung am bearbeiteten Edelstahl-Werkstück. Sogar
Funken, die bei der Bearbeitung von Normalstahl auftreten, können
Edelstahllegierungen zerstören.

st el should never be used for stai less steel. Residue from ordin ry
steel can be left on the tool. These residues destroy a y stainless
ee alloy and lead to the formation of rust on t e machined
tainless steel. Eve sparks from machining ordinary steel can
damage stainless ste l alloys.
