Finance and General Purposes Committee Terms of reference.
A Finance and General Purposes Committee shall be established comprising of the General
Secretary, President, Vice President and three members of the EC. The Committee shall be
empowered to make recommendations to the EC on all matters relating to finances, general
organisational issues, staffing and the implementation of policy. It shall not be authorised to make
any expenditure or other decisions save those expressly entrusted in it by the EC. The F&GP shall in
particular closely monitor the performance of the GFTU’s investment portfolios, accounting systems
and routine financial management and expenditure and potential sources of income.
