possible. Dehybor Anhydrous Borax contains

none of the fillers and soaps found in standard

Borax. This 30 mesh grain is hard and glassy

in texture. Maintains consistency and will not

rehydrate under ordinary storage conditions.

Convenient EZ pour 1 gallon jug with big mouth

opening is the perfect dispensing system for

your shop.

An outstanding material for differential

hardening of your blade. Also known as APG

#36 Refractory Cement, our Hamon Glop comes

wet and ready to apply (just stir it up a bit first) in

a convenient quart size container. 3200 degree

temperature rating.

coating to reflect 95% of the radiant heat from the

back of the hand and arm. The palm material can

withstand intermittent handling from 800 to 1000

degrees F. These 14" gloves are lined with 11 oz

wool and use a Kevlar thread for the stitching.

are lined with 11 oz wool and have a specialized

coating of 35 oz highly textured silica yarn treated

to withstand temperatures up to 2000 degrees

F. The outer material dissipates heat across

the surface of the fabric. The fabric is made

of inorganic materials, so it won't smolder or

produce hazardous outgasses.

Heat Treating Tongs

Manufactured from special low carbon steel for

lasting strength. Will not become brittle when

quenched in water. The tongs are 15" overall.

Special made for the knifemaker who forges

blades or damascus. Equipped with insulated

doors on both ends for easy entry and

removal of long billets. Comes fitted for

propane, but can be configured for natural

gas. Regulator, hose, gauge and push-button

ignition included. Operates off a standard

20lb propane tank, the same type used

for barbecue grills. Uniform heat, reaches

2350˚. Heats and reheats metal very quickly.

Transportable, light weight and quick cooling.

The heat Chamber is 4" x 4 1/2" x 13 1/2".

Exhaust port on one door is 2" x 3". Ship

Simple to use; place blade or other part in the

Tool Steep Wrap; fold over and crimp edges

forming an air tight package; place package

in oven and heat treat according to metal

directions. Placing a small chip of wood

inside the foil packet helps to burn up oxygen

inside the wrap. Use only once. Cuts easily

with scissors.
