Mr. Kelly served his apprenticeship with the late

Mr. William P. Triston, Solicitor, 1 Dame Street,

Dublin, was admitted in Hilary Sittings 1918, and

practised as senior partner in the firm o f Messrs.

Thomas J. Kelly & Son, New Ross, Co. Wexford.

Solicitor, died at his resi­

dence “ Lis-na-Mara,” Sligo, on the 22nd February,

1954.

Mr. O’Doherty served his apprenticeship with

Mr. Hugh C. O ’Doherty, Solicitor, Londonderry,

was admitted in Hilary Sittings 19 15, and practised

as senior partner in tne firm o f Messrs. O’Doherty

& Monahan, Solicitors, Sligo.

residence, Leebrook, Tralee, Co. Kerry on the

20th February, 1954.

Mr. Kelly served his apprenticeship with the late

Mr. Thomas Huggard, Solicitor, Tralee, was admit­

ted in Michaelmas Sittings 1912, and practised as

senior partner in the firm o f Messrs. Hudson &

Browne, Solicitors, Tralee, Co. Kerry.

Solicitor, died at

Apsley House, Ovens, Co. Cork, on the 28th

February, 1954.

Mr. Rearden served his apprenticeship with the

late Mr. Alfred Blake, Solicitor, Cork, was admitted

in Hilary Sittings 1902, and practised at Cork until

his appointment as Secretary to Cork Employers

Federation & Commercial Buildings Co., Cork.

Solicitor, died

at

his

residence, Bindon Street, Ennis, on the 28th February

1954.

Mr. O’Donnell served his apprenticeship with

Mr. Hugh P. O’Donnell, Solicitor, Carlow, was

admitted in Trinity Sittings, 1928, and practised at

Ennis as Messrs. Kerin, Hickman & O’Donnell.

He was elected a member o f the Council in Novem­

ber, 1948, and served until the date o f his death.

He was a Vice-President of the Society for the year

1951-52, and had served as the Society’s representa­

tive on the Land Registration Rules Committee

since 1949.

THE SOLICITORS’ BENEVOLENT ASSOCIATION

The Association, which operates throughout the whole o f Ireland, cares for Solicitors, their wives,

widows and families, who have fallen on hard times.

Last year over £1,300 was distributed in relief. Additional subscriptions, donations and bequests

are urgently needed to continue and extend the Association’s work.

The active co-operation of the profession in the Association’s good work is asked for, and all who are

not members are urged to join without delay.

Membership subscription, £ 1 is. od. (or 10s. 6d. if admitted less than 3 years) a year. £ 10 10s. od.
