Application tip for abrasive caps
• When removing and refitting the abrasive cap a slight right
turn should be made.
• Changing is easier when the abrasive cap is clamped in the
drive machine.
• Abrasive caps perform best at a cutting speed of 10–20 m/s.
• The maximum peripheral speed is 25 m/s.
• The specified maximum speed should not be exceeded
for safety reasons.
Design:
Resin-bonded aluminium oxide grain (A). With very good grit
friction and long life.
Application:
For tool manufacturing finishing work in hard-to-reach
places. For working with chamfers, radii, and bores with flexible shanks,
and even straight grinders.
